BOTOX Treatment

BOTOX injection is a fast, safe, and simple non-surgical approach in temporarily treating and eliminating facial wrinkles in the forehead, frown lines (between the brows) and for the "crow's feet" or eye area (upper third of the face). BOTOX works by weakening the muscles in the face. Once the resting tone of the treated muscles is weakened, the pull of the muscles relaxes and the overlying skin flattens, thereby temporarily eliminating wrinkles and facial lines. Re-injection is necessary within 4-6 months. With increasing number of treatments the results may be visible longer, sometimes up to a year.

Dermal Fillers

Injectable dermal fillers can enhance shallow contours, soften facial creases and wrinkles, and improve the appearance of recessed scars. Common areas for injectable fillers are the nasolabial folds (from sides of the nose leading down to the corners of the mouth) and marionette lines (from sides of the mouth leading down to the jawline). Our plastic surgeons use a variety of products including Juvederm, Radiesse etc. To find the right injectable filler for you, your plastic surgeon will carefully evaluate your facial appearance and skin tone before the treatment. Injection takes only a few moments per site and a few minutes for a course of treatment. The results are apparent immediately.

Lip Augmentation

Lip augmentation can help you have fuller or more defined lips. Lip enhancement is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure performed under local anaesthesia or often as part of a facial rejuvenation procedure. The plastic surgeon can use a variety of filler products (such as Juvederm, Restylan etc.), which are injected with a needle into the treated area. After the procedure the lip swells for a few days, but soon returns to a natural and youthful appearance.

Dermaroller

Dermaroller (Collagen Induction Therapy) is used to stimulate the skin to produce new collagen, thereby reducing wrinkles and improving skin texture. Similar in principle to chemical and laser resurfacing techniques, a minor injury is created with very fine needles in the dermis to initiate a wound healing response that ultimately increases the production of elastin and collagen. The new fibres build a new collagen formation on the dermis resulting in more collagen, strength and elasticity. After the treatment the skin becomes tighter, smoother and wrinkles around eyes, mouth and cheeks disappear.

Excessive Sweating Treatment with BOTOX

BOTOX is FDA approved for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). BOTOX neurotoxin treatment helps control sweating by temporarily blocking the chemical signals from the nerves that stimulate the sweat glands. When the sweat glands don't receive chemical signals, the excessive sweating stops. The effects of the treatment will last anywhere from four to six months. After this period the effects of BOTOX treatment will gradually wear off.
